This means Merry Christmas in Danish. Today is the traditional Danish day to spend with family, enjoying good food, and time together. We began the day with Divine Service at Holy Cross. Bismarck was promised a Christmas blizzard, and as usual, the weather guys were right! We'll be sitting tight at least the rest of the day, if not the next few days! But it was not bad enough to cancel church! The members joked that the next guy they call needs to be of weaker stock, perhaps someone from Florida!
The turkey is in Grandma's old roaster, the kids are playing new video games and putting together Lego sets, I have some new books to read, and the wind is blowing like crazy outside!
I leave you with this video of some Danish Christmas songs and some lovely winter scenes from Denmark! Enjoy!
