7 Quick Takes Friday: September 17, 2010
- This bunches of kids business can be tiring. Fun, but tiring. The Rev.'s parents are in town visiting. The dinner table was especially rambunctious the other night, and the Rev.'s mom told me she misses that chaos sometimes. I think I'll miss it as well. However, at the moment, I'd appreciate a little less whining and a little more laughter.
- This year seems to be the first year in my parenting where I really feel like a taxi. I think that must have something to do with having a child at a different school, and also having a child who needs to be transported to sports practices and meets. William had his first cross country meet this week, so now I have two runners.
- The girls are eight months old now. I took them in to get weighed and measured on Wednesday. Elizabeth is 15 pounds and 15 ounces. Emily is 15 pounds and 3 ounces. Both are 26 inches long. They are crawling all over and cutting teeth and making us laugh.
- This weekend is the Downtowners Street Fair. Which means that the Rev. is up to his ears in planning and carrying out the Boy Scout Taco in a Bag booth. I am looking forward to some yummy fair food tonight. I just hope that it does not rain.
- Later today I'll be posting my very first Foodbuzz Project Foodblog post. I'd love it if you pop over there, and vote for me when the voting opens on Monday!
- I still have not established a good schedule. This is so not a good thing.
- It totally feels like Fall here now...and because of that I've made soup TWICE this week, and yesterday I even baked! I'd actually bake more if the kitchen cleaned itself. And speaking of food...Grocery University is having a super great one day sale on Monday. Click on the button on my sidebar for details!
So what have YOU been up to this week! Make sure to pop on over to Conversion Diary to see what Jen has been up to!
